The Community Health Center of Ohio with the support of the American Liver Foundation is holding a two-day conference to bring awareness to the growing concern related to the treatment of Hepatitis C, HIV and other blood borne pathogens – Blood Borne: A Silent Epidemic. This groundbreaking conference will be held on October 26 and 27, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. Hepatitis C is a disease of the liver caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). Hepatitis C is spread primarily by exposure to human blood.
